Our links with the CHURCH MISSION SOCIETY go back to the 1830s just after the founding of St Johns. Our present linked partner is Rev Tim Dakin (Pictured with his family) who is the General Secretary of the CMS. Tim has recently taken up that post and is seeking to ensure that CMS concentrates on its primary role of evangelisation.

CMS works in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and here in Britain. Currently CMS are moving forward to unite with Mid Africa Ministries (formerly Rwanda CMS). This will integrate their work in East Africa, maximise their resources and strengthen their partnership with the African Church.
